University Hospitals Dorset is recruiting a Staff Nurse for the Haematology and Oncology Day Unit at Royal Bournemouth Hospital. The role involves caring for patients, administering chemotherapy, and coordinating care within a busy 14-chair unit that treats about 250 patients per week.

We offer development through National Study Days/Conferences, unit-based practice education, and a relocation package of up to £13,000 to assist new staff relocating to the Bournemouth area.

Qualifications

• NMC registration is required.
• Advanced nursing degree or diploma in adult health nursing.
• Post-registration courses in Haematology/Oncology are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work 37.5 hours per week in the Haematology/Oncology Day Unit.
• Administer chemotherapy and provide supportive care.
• Engage in local induction and university-accredited courses.
• Be flexible to work across Trust locations and participate in education.
• Relocation package of up to £13,000 may be available.
