Job summary

University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Breast Care Nurse to provide holistic care to breast cancer patients at the Jigsaw unit. The post holder will work autonomously and within a team, supporting patients through their cancer journey and assisting band 7 CNSs by liaising with the MDT.

Active UK NMC registration is required. The role is based at Royal Bournemouth Hospital with potential relocation considerations as part of the Trust's service moves.

Qualifications

• RGN registration with active nursing license in the UK.
• Post-registration development to diploma/degree level or equivalent (e.g. BSc Cancer Nursing).
• Experience in oncology/breast cancer care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of holistic nursing to breast cancer patients.
• Support and liaise with the MDT and CNSs; contribute to patient education.
• Work autonomously and as part of the team, safeguarding professional practice.
