We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Medical Laboratory Assistant to support our Biomedical Scientists. This role offers the opportunity to work within a busy and friendly laboratory, supporting the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services to surrounding healthcare providers.
The Haematology Department at King's Mill Hospital plays a crucial role in providing analytical, diagnostic, interpretative, and consultative services to hospitals, clinics, and GP practices.
As a Medical Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for undertaking basic laboratory tasks essential for the smooth operation of the Haematology department. This includes loading samples onto analyzers, changing reagents, inputting sample requests, etc. Your support and contribution will be integral to ensuring an efficient and safe service delivery.
