Job summary

The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital is seeking a Consultant Haematologist to join a growing team across inpatient, outpatient, laboratory and multidisciplinary services. The post offers opportunities to develop subspecialty interests, contribute to research and teaching, and support ongoing service improvement.

The post is based at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital in Exeter, with weeks spent across North Devon District Hospital.

Qualifications

• CCT in Haematology or equivalent required within six months of appointment.
• Consultant level with interest in subspecialties and research.
• Commitment to education and multidisciplinary teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Participate in 1 in 9 on-call attending rota.
• Maintain weekly clinics and MDT working.
• Laboratory responsibilities as part of Haematology service.
• Contribute to research and teaching activities.
