Job summary

NHS Dumfries & Galloway seeks a Consultant Haematologist to support the Haematology service at the new Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary. The post involves working alongside two substantive consultants in a modern facility to provide comprehensive Haematology care for the local population.

Candidates should have Haematology training with Haemato-Oncology expertise and must be on GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCST at interview. The post is full-time (10 PAs).

Qualifications

• Must be on GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCST at the time of interview.

Responsibilities

• Provide Haematology service to the local population alongside two existing consultants.
• Work in the new purpose-built facility at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary.
• Post is full-time (10 PAs); flexible for less-than-full-time considerations.
