Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Haematologist at Basildon Hospital to lead haematology services and contribute to MDTs and outpatient clinics. The role involves hospital-wide collaboration to provide a comprehensive haematology service for mid and south Essex.

Essential requirements include MBBS or equivalent, GMC registration, and leadership experience. This permanent, full-time post offers competitive pay and flexible working options.

Competenze

• MBBS or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of the principles of research/audit and ability to interpret and apply clinical research.
• Entry on GMC Specialist register or within 6 months of CCT

Mansioni

• To contribute to the leadership and development and organisation of Haematology services in line with the Trusts business plans for quality activity and business targets.
• To ensure that all staff work within the trusts framework for corporate governance including standing orders, standing financial instructions and financial procedures.
• To promote interdisciplinary team working between across the Trust.
• The post holder will contribute to effective communication and involvement of staff across the CSU including support to the service manager and Head of Nursing to achieve his objectives.
