Job summary

GenesisCare UK is expanding its Clinical Nurse Specialist network in Windsor with a haematology CNS. You will be a designated Key Worker, coordinating care across the patient journey and providing expert haematology nursing support within a national CNS network.

You will collaborate with consultants and multidisciplinary teams, develop clinical standards, and contribute to service development while supporting patients and families throughout treatment.

Qualifications

• Registered adult nurse with at least 3 years post-registration experience.
• Specialist haematology knowledge and practice.
• Post-registration cancer/palliative care qualification is desirable.
• Experience in MDT settings and evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Act as Key Worker for a defined clinical caseload coordinating care.
• Undertake Holistic Needs Assessments and develop personalised care plans.
• Provide expert haematology nursing advice to patients and families.
• Manage own caseload and contribute to nurse-led clinics.
• Collaborate with consultants and MDT for coordinated care.
• Participate in MDT meetings and develop treatment pathways.
• Support self-management and local support access.
• Contribute to service development, audits, and quality improvement.
• Provide specialist education and support to clinical colleagues.
• Help shape haematology nursing provision within Windsor and across GenesisCare CNS network.
