An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated nurse to work as a member of our established Haematology team at the Wye Valley Trust, Hereford.
We are seeking an experienced registered nurse with an interest in haematological and or oncological conditions to join our team of Clinical Nurse Specialists. You will have an opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge to contribute to the busy and diverse haematology out-patient services.
You will be supported by an experienced Haematology Nursing Team, Consultant Haematologists and an excellent administration team.
The team is focused on developing services to enhance the delivery of patient care. We have extended our nurse led clinic activity and you will be encouraged to support the team in taking these initiatives further. You would be supported both clinically and in your personal education needs.
The CNS team participates in MDT, in-patient reviews, consultant outpatient clinics, bone marrow biopsies, nurse led clinics and treatment monitoring reviews.
We support other health professionals within the Trust to ensure patients receive a high quality of care by providing specialist advice and education. Shared care pathways exist for patients between our team, primary and tertiary care and you will be a key communicator in co-ordinating treatment delivery and supporting patients and their carers/families.
