Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust in London is seeking an experienced Haematology and Blood Transfusion Biomedical Scientist to join the NHS East and South East London Pathology Partnership. The role requires HCPC registration and completion of the IBMS Specialist Portfolio, with flexibility for a 24-hour shift system across multiple sites.

The post is primarily based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, with rotation across the ESEL sites and potential to cover varying rosters.

Qualifications

• Must be HCPC registered as Biomedical Scientist.
• Completed IBMS Specialist Portfolio in Haematology and Blood Transfusion.
• Experience in Haematology and Blood Transfusion workflows with 24-hour shift system.

Responsibilities

• Carry out/ supervise technical and scientific work in the laboratory.
• Rotate through various sections and sites within the ESEL Pathology Partnership.
• Work across AfC hybrid or night shift patterns as required.
