Job summary

Environment Bank is seeking a Habitat delivery specialist to lead habitat creation and enhancement projects across the Midlands to the South East. You will work with ecologists and land managers to plan, resource, and deliver habitat works safely, on time, and within budget.

This role involves regional travel, on-site contractor coordination, and ongoing development of Habitat Management Plans. Flexible remote/hybrid arrangements and a supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of habitat creation/restoration and management
• Track record delivering nature recovery projects
• Experience working with farmers/landowners in a professional capacity
• Experience working with contractors
• Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Review ecology design for successful implementation
• Write/review Habitat Management Plan and Habitat Management and Monitoring Plan sections
• Provide activity schedules to the project manager
• Write specifications for key materials (seed, fencing, etc.)
• Meet with contractors on site and manage contractor KPIs
• Review Construction Phase Plan and input to project risk register
