A leading company in private healthcare is seeking a Passenger Assistant. This role involves escorting clients with special needs, ensuring their safety and wellbeing during transport. We have an opportunity for a Passenger Assistant to join our team.
The working hours for this role are from 07:00 - 10:00 and 14:00 - 17:00 daily. This is a 16-hour contract.
To escort and assist clients with special needs, board and alight vehicles in their daily journey to and from home, school, centre, or other destinations as directed.

Variations in duties depend on the needs of clients, including mobility, learning difficulties, or age, and the type of transport used.
This role involves potential risks to personal safety, health, and wellbeing.
The job generally follows established guidelines but may require using initiative for basic problem-solving, with complex issues escalated to supervisors.
This position involves contact with clients, parents, guardians, carers, and staff, requiring strong interpersonal skills. The role may involve handling sensitive issues and using communication equipment such as radios and GPS devices.
Exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974; disclosure of offences may be required.
