We are looking for a Passenger Assistant to join our team. The role requires working Monday to Friday with flexible hours, primarily between 07:00 - 09:00 and 14:30 – 16:30.
To escort and assist clients with special needs, ensuring their safe boarding and alighting from vehicles for daily journeys to and from home, school, or other destinations.
Team leader > Controller > Passenger Assistant
Variations depend on clients’ needs, including mobility, learning difficulties, mental health, age, and disability. The role involves potential risks to personal safety, injury, and health.
Work within established guidelines, using initiative for basic problems, and consulting supervisors for complex issues.
Interact with parents, guardians, carers, teachers, and other staff, providing assistance and information. Strong interpersonal skills are essential. Exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, disclosure of offences may be required.
