Role Summary

CHC Helicopter is currently accepting resumes from H175 type rated pilots for potential opportunities with our Aberdeen location.

Key Responsibilities

Operates their assigned aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance with CHC operational standards and all applicable regulations;

Places safety and customer service at the forefront in everything they do, both inside and outside the aircraft;

Maintains situational awareness throughout the entire operational region with respect to weather conditions, NOTAMs, sea state and customer offshore facility status;

Supports the aircraft commander in the safe operation of flights;

Facilitates communications with the customer and ensures CHC is represented in a professional manner;

Stays up to date on all operational and safety procedures;

Complies with other duties and assignments as determined by the Flight Operations Management team;

Work area is Aberdeen, but secondments to other operating bases are possible.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

Minimum Qualifications

Valid and current UK CAA ATPL (H) or UK CAA CPL(H) with ATPL(H) theory;

Multi pilot type rating H175;

Applicants are required to hold a UK CAA Class 1 medical certificate;

Applicants will be required to complete psychometric testing;

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required;

Must be organised and be able to work with a large and varied workload;

Must possess strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team;

Must be able to pass a UK security background check;

Must be IT literate and able to work with CHC IT systems for flight planning, rostering and others;

Must have the right to live and work in the UK.

Preferred Qualifications

1 Year in the Offshore Oil and Gas Sector.;

EASA ATPL (H) alongside UK CAA ATPL (H);

1,500 hours PIC helicopter;

500 hours Multi Engine;

ICAO English level 6.
