South Lanarkshire Council is seeking an experienced Joiner for a permanent role, involving a range of refurbishment and maintenance tasks. Hours: 37 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am - 1.30pm
Salary: £37,020 - £38,082 per year

South Lanarkshire Council is recruiting an experienced Joiner to support various works programmes within Building Services. The role involves carrying out all associated Joinery tasks, including refurbishment and maintenance works, with a flexible approach to managing varied workloads.
You should be time-served with trade qualifications such as SVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in the appropriate trade discipline, demonstrating sound practical technical competencies and high-quality workmanship. Experience in working within both commercial and domestic properties is essential, with knowledge of joinery works in public buildings and schools being advantageous.
Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to customer care, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience working to targets and timescales, with an awareness of health and safety standards.
