South Lanarkshire Council is seeking an experienced Plumber to manage various plumbing duties within their portfolio. The ideal candidate will hold trade qualifications and have a flexible approach to varied workloads. Benefits include generous leave, pension enrollment, and employee discounts.
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am - 1.30pm
Housing & Technical Resources require an experienced Plumber to support the delivery of various works programmes within Building Services.
You will have a flexible approach to managing varied workloads, as you will be required to carry out all plumbing duties within the South Lanarkshire Council portfolio.
You should be time-served with trade qualifications such as SVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in your relevant discipline and demonstrate sound practical technical competencies, delivering high-quality workmanship in all aspects of your trade. Experience working within both commercial and domestic properties in the construction industry is essential.
You should demonstrate a commitment to the principles of customer care, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must also have experience working to targets and pre-determined timescales, along with an awareness of health and safety in the workplace.
