An exciting opportunity has arisen to join, or further develop your career within, Housing and Technical Resources. We are seeking to recruit a Project Co-ordinator to assist in the development and management of the investment and maintenance programmes for the Council's Housing Stock and related assets. You will supervise and coordinate activity related to the development of projects for the council's capital and revenue programmes.

You will provide support to Senior Management in implementing and monitoring processes and procedures that ensure continuous improvement and quality service provision in line with Best Value principles.

You will ensure the effective daily management of staff and resources to maximize productivity and adherence to service level agreements across a wide range of work streams. Key tasks will include:

  1. Leading and coordinating the work of the Investment Team and relevant employees, ensuring consistency of approach in data capture and survey processes.
  2. Reviewing housing stock condition information and repairs histories, liaising with Repairs, Maintenance, and Survey Teams to analyze repair history and survey results, and making recommendations on future programmes of work.
  3. Developing and reviewing the Asset Management Strategy for the Council's housing stock and related assets.
  4. Developing, managing, and maintaining an effective asset management database for the Council's housing stock and related assets.
  5. Developing, monitoring, and maintaining lifecycles and costs within the asset management system.
  6. Assisting in the development and review of the Council's Corporate Asset Management Plan, including monitoring property performance and preparing Core Facts and Local Government Benchmarking Framework Indicators.
  7. Assisting with Housing and Non-Housing project development, review, and assessment in partnership with Client Resources, considering service requirements and investment priorities.
  8. Supervising staff within the team, ensuring tasks, targets, and timescales for providing quality services are understood and met, and assessing learning and development needs.
