Job summary

ONLi Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Scaffolding Health & Safety Manager to lead health and safety across projects in the South East and London. The role requires NEBOSH qualification, proven leadership, and a track record in construction HSE.

You will promote safe behaviours, coach managers and operatives, and ensure compliance with current legislation and IMS policies. A proactive approach to incident investigations and external liaison will be essential.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing a team and guiding managers/supervisors.
• Ability to draft accurate reports, policies and procedures.
• Driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Promote and implement positive health and safety behaviour change within the business.
• Provide support, technical advice and coaching to Managers, Supervisors and Operatives on health, safety and environment.
• Audit and assess current safety standards, identify gaps and areas for improvement.
• Act upon any works posing uncontrolled risk and ensure compliance with legislation.
• Maintain IMS policies, procedures and systems reflecting business needs.
• Conduct incident investigations and document lessons learned, reporting to Directorate/HSE as required.
• Liaise with Local Authorities, Contractors, Consultants and Fire/HSE as needed.
• Assist with inductions for new starters and maintain a library for legislation and standards.
