A leading health care provider in the UK is seeking a registered nurse for their outpatient gynaecology department. The role involves assessing and planning patient care, communicating effectively with patients and care teams, and assisting in various clinics. Ideal candidates will bring expertise in gynaecological care and strong communication skills. This position offers an inclusive environment with a strong focus on staff wellbeing.
The gynaecology outpatient department offers care to patients with complex women’s health issues from a wide-ranging patient demographic. The department runs clinics covering different gynaecology needs (fertility/general/oncology/colposcopy), requiring an ability to understand the differing clinical needs for each clinic and to work to clearly defined policies and procedures.
The post holder will be a registered nurse with the expertise and skills to assess, plan and implement individual patient care and be accountable for their own actions. They will be expected to provide effective, safe, evidence-based patient care in accordance with The Code to women with gynaecological problems in the outpatient setting.
