Job description
Overview

City of London School is seeking a Gym Supervisor and Instructor to supervise and maximize the use of the school’s state-of-the-art gym for pupils and staff. The Gym Development, installed with Matrix, includes a Cardio Hub, Fixed Weight Machines, Free Weights, Smith Machines, Power Racks, and Olympic Lifting Platforms. A dedicated Functional Fitness Space with a speed carpet, punch bags, and a Rig supplied by Escape Fitness is also available.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and monitor all activities in the Gym, supporting pupils and staff to achieve health-related fitness goals.
  • Assist the PE Department in developing and delivering an innovative health-related fitness programme.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and manage facility operations effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience in the fitness industry including fitness instruction and personal training.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to forge good working relationships with colleagues; prior experience of working with children is an advantage.
