City of London School is seeking a Gym Supervisor and Instructor to play a central role in ensuring that the state of the art gym is used to its fullest potential by both pupils and staff. The Gym Supervisor and Instructor will supervise and monitor all activities which take place in the Gym, supporting pupils and staff to achieve their health-related fitness goals. Alongside the oversight of the facility, you will be expected to assist the PE Department in developing and delivering an innovative health-related fitness programme.

This post is permanent, Term-Time Only (36 weeks) plus 1 week during school holidays. Working hours: 10:30 to 18:30 (a flexible starting time may be possible, this can be discussed at the interview stage).
The school’s Gym Development, installed in collaboration with Matrix, consists of a Cardio Hub, Fixed Weight Machines and Free weights. The equipment includes Smith Machines, Power Racks and Olympic Lifting Platforms. We also have a dedicated Functional Fitness Space complete with speed carpet, punch bags and a Rig supplied by Escape Fitness.
