The Role

This varied role involves responsibilities ranging from financial management to people development, with key focus areas including:

• Driving gym performance through detailed action plans and maintaining a safe, legal environment
• Fostering a positive and motivating work environment
• Building and developing a highly engaged team of Personal Trainers, Fitness Coaches, and an Assistant Gym Manager
• Recruiting new Personal Trainers and Fitness Coaches
• Delivering an excellent member experience through high standards and service
• Managing and enhancing Group Exercise offerings within the gym

Reporting to a Cluster Manager, you will be part of a team of Gym Managers and fitness professionals committed to exceptional service and standards. You will manage your own team and collaborate with other managers to improve overall performance, creating a great environment for both staff and members.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous management experience and a passion for fitness and wellbeing
• Embodies our 'Everybody Welcome' ethos
• Supports people in reaching their full potential
• Experience managing budgets, financial reports, and inventory
• Resilient, confident, and demonstrating integrity in results-driven environments
• Level 2 qualification in gym instructing and experience teaching group exercise
