Location: Kilnwick Road, Pocklington

We are looking for a Gym Instructor to join our team at Kilnwick Percy Resort in Pocklington, Yorkshire. Hourly rate of £12.21.

This is a permanent position to work part-time hours, totaling 15-20 hours across 3 days, including weekends and bank holidays. Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the business.

About The Role

Main Responsibilities:

• Liaise with the General Manager to maintain membership sales through monitoring and upselling gym memberships and renewals.
• Ensure the smooth daily operation of the gym.
• Coordinate and deliver pre-planned fitness classes.
• Complete staff rotas to cover all classes.
• Engage the gym team to maximize membership retention.
• Perform gym equipment checks and record defects or hazards.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the gym, changing rooms, and guest areas.
• Check and order cleaning products and supplements.

Requirements

Applicants should have relevant previous experience and hold a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification. A driving license and the ability to drive are advantageous for easy travel to the resort.
