Job summary

PureGym Reading is seeking a motivated General Assistant on a fixed term contract. You will help maintain a clean, safe gym environment and support members to enjoy their workouts. The role includes progression support towards a Level 2 Gym Instructing qualification and offers a funded First Aid course.

As a General Assistant, you will contribute to outstanding gym standards, assist with customer service, and help deliver a welcoming, judgement-free space for all members and guests.

Qualifications

• Working towards Level 2 Gym Instructing.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a gym environment.

Responsibilities

We have an opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic General Assistant to join us on a fixed term contract .You will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and overall standards of the gym are outstanding.

Ideally you would be studying towards your Level 2 qualification in gym instructing. There is support available to help you transition to your next role as a gym instructor at the end of your contract.

You will help to ensure that our members are able to enjoy a great workout, in a safe and clean gym by carrying out various tasks to maintain high standards.
