Job summary

East Dunbartonshire Leisure & Culture Trust is seeking a casual Fitness Assistant to manage daily operations at the Allander Leisure Centre gym. You will handle client consultations, 1-1 programming, group inductions and small group classes, while maintaining cleanliness and safety for the public.

The role requires working outside normal hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, with PVG membership applicable.

Qualifications

• Possession of a recognised Level 2 Gym Instructors Qualification is essential.
• A Health & Fitness related qualification would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day operations of the fitness facility.
• Conduct client consultations and 1-1 programming.
• Lead group inductions and small group classes.
• Ensure facility cleanliness and repair to high standards.
• Oversee safety and behaviour of the public to prevent injury, misuse and damage.
• Work outside normal hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
