Job summary

Stoke Damerel Community College is seeking a Community Gym Assistant to run the gym floor safely and efficiently, greet members, signpost memberships, and upsell classes. You will set up for classes and maintain high cleanliness standards across the gym and facilities.

The role requires experience in sports/leisure, a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification or equivalent, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in the sports and leisure industry.
• Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification or equivalent.
• Able to be flexible and committed to working evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet members.
• Lead on pre-booked inductions for new or returning members.
• Support with the positive promotion and marketing of the gym and classes.
• Set up for classes and maintain cleanliness throughout the gym and ancillary facilities.
