Job summary

JD Gyms in Dundee is seeking a dedicated cleaner to uphold high standards of cleanliness across the club, delivering a friendly, professional service to members.

You will conduct daily, weekly and monthly cleaning checks, report safety defects, and support JD Gyms brand standards while working as part of a supportive team.

Experience in customer-facing environments is advantageous, and you will help create a positive environment for both members and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing, cleaning or leisure environments is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
• Support and maintain JD Gyms brand standards across all areas of the club.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.
• Ensure the gym facility is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards in line with company expectations.
• Deliver outstanding member service through positive and professional interactions.
• Support learning and development initiatives, including training activities designed to promote consistent standards across the business.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties.
