Hotel Brand: InterContinental

Location: Australia, New South Wales, Sydney

Hotel: Sydney Double Bay (SYDIC), 33 Cross Street, Double Bay, 2028

Fit Collective Gym at InterContinental Sydney Double Bay is a world-class facility. As a Gym Attendant, you will be trained and engaged predominantly in gym services.

What’s Your Day to Day

1. Ensure hotel guests and members are greeted upon arrival and interact effectively. Assist guests with directions or facility explanations.
2. Help the team by sharing workload and assisting with duties as required.
3. Manage guest and member accounts; assist with membership queries and account issues.
4. Resolve guest and member issues to ensure an exceptional experience in our luxury facility.
5. Manage billing and payments using Mindbody Online, following policies and procedures for cash handling and security.
6. Promote IHG Rewards Club by enrolling guests as members and recognizing existing members.
7. Maintain knowledge of brand standards to deliver a great branded experience.
8. Comply with WH&S, HACCP, and crisis management policies, supporting a greener hotel environment.
9. Stay informed about neighborhood and hotel events, groups, and guest feedback to act as a neighborhood host.

What We Need From You

• Previous experience in a gym environment.
• Physical fitness to be on your feet most of the day, with the ability to bend and kneel.
• Strength to lift, push, and pull equipment such as dumbbells and weight plates.
• Experience with the MindBody booking system is advantageous.
• Cert IV in Fitness.
• First Aid Qualifications (essential).
• Driver’s License (preferred).
• Sales experience and ability to promote the gym as an ambassador.
• Passion for customer service and excellent communication skills.
