Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking a Customer Service Assistant for Exeter Central Station to assist customers during planned railway engineering works and replacement bus services. You will be the first point of contact for passengers, greeting them and guiding travel information, while ensuring safety and a friendly service.

Shifts include morning and afternoon blocks, with multiple dates in late 2026. Applicants must be local or able to travel to Exeter and be 18+ with clear English

Customer Service Assistant - Exeter Central Train Station

We are recruiting Customer Service Assistants to support customers at Exeter Central Station during planned railway engineering works. As the first and last point of contact on a customer's journey, you will play a vital role in providing assistance, directions and travel information while replacement bus services operate in place of trains. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring passenger safety are our top priorities.

Pay rate: £13.45

Dates

27th November 2026 to 30th November 2026

24th December 2026 to 3rd January 2027

Excluding Christmas Day and Boxing DayYou must be available to commit to all required dates to be considered for this role.

Shift Times

Various AM and PM shifts are available, examples:

• 08:00 - 14:00
• 14:00 - 22:00

Additional shift patterns may be available depending on operational requirements.

Important Location Requirement

Due to the nature of these engineering works and replacement transport arrangements, applicants must live locally to Exeter Central Station or have a reliable means of travelling to and from work.
