Job summary

Pertemps Dudley Industrial is seeking a Guillotine Operator in Cradley to join a busy manufacturing team. You will set and run guillotine machinery, cut sheet metal and steel to precise measurements, reading drawings and checking dimensions.

The role is full-time, temp-to-perm, with a day shift from 8am to 4pm. A valid Overhead Crane Licence is essential, and you must follow Health & Safety procedures on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating guillotine machinery in manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and meet tight tolerances.
• Valid Overhead Crane Licence and a strong commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set guillotine machinery to size specs.
• Cut sheet metal and steel to required dimensions.
• Read measurements, drawings and job specifications.
• Inspect finishes and ensure accurate production.
• Use overhead crane to lift, move and position materials.
• Maintain clean, safe working environment; follow H&S procedures.
• Meet production schedules.
