Your Role:

We are seeking a high-performing Guidewire Configuration Developer or Lead with hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter (advantage) to join our Insurance Practice.

  • Develop the Guidewire application and GUnits to enable TDD.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to review business requirements and functional specifications, and create requirement clarification documents.
  • Communicate with technical leads and IT teams to understand project implications, dependencies, and conflicts. Provide regular status updates to the project manager.
  • Utilize requirement gathering techniques such as brainstorming, meetings, focus groups, observations, and prototypes to identify optimal solutions.
  • Research and analyze issues reported in Production, perform root cause analysis, and document findings. Respond promptly to resolve technical issues.
  • Manage versioning of release updates, resolve code conflicts, and coordinate code promotion across environments.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Your Profile:
  • Insurance domain knowledge with Property & Casualty background.
  • 10+ years of experience in Guidewire, with proficiency in designing, developing, and implementing solutions.
  • Proficient in designing Page Configuration Files (PCF) in GW PolicyCenter.
  • Strong understanding of defect analysis, coverage scenarios, and PCF-related issues in PolicyCenter.
  • Quick learner of business domains and requirements, providing effective applications.
  • Knowledge of Admin data loading.
  • Experience with Assignment and Segmentation Rules, Preupdate, and Validation rules.
  • Experience in LOB configuration and typelists.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with Oracle / SQL Server databases.
  • Experience with SCRUM Agile methodologies; Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred.
