As a Guided Tours Facilitator with Sodexo, you'll be the welcoming face of our vibrant corporate site, offering a helping hand to ensure flawless workplace operations and shape that all-important guest experience. Enjoy a role where you’ll love what you do.

What you'll do:

• Ensure a warm, courteous, professional, and prompt response happens to all telephone, email and in-person enquiries and queries.
• Ensure accurate and correct details are taken from bookers and recorded accurately in the tours booking system.
• Ensure tour availability in the tour calendar is always up to date.
• Liaise and communicate with Reception and other service departments in a clear and timely manner to ensure service delivery and teamwork.
• Support the Head of Workplace Experience in driving improvements in how we deliver tour content to ensure exceptional quality, information, and memorable experiences.
• Assist the Head of Workplace Experience in rejuvenating the employee induction presentation’s content and delivering it effectively, so that a positive tone is set from Day 1 on every employee’s Sodexo journey.

Essential Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively and build long-term relationships with customers and clients at all levels.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple workloads and shifting priorities, whilst always meeting deadlines.
• At least 2 years experience working within a corporate, hotel, restaurant, or visitor attraction setting.
• Self-motivation to learn new procedures, systems, and techniques, together with an interest in proactively seeking to improve these.
• Possess a proactive, hands-on approach to driving high customer service standards to exceed a set of performance criteria.
• A deep awareness of what exceptional customer service, visitor experience, and employee engagement is.
• I.T and technology literate to a medium-high level.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in the field of sales or FOH customer service teams such as reception, tour guides, or events.
• Experience of managing conflicting expectations between a customer and your company within the same business arena.
