What you'll be doing:

As Guest Operations Specialist you will help coordinate the smooth running of our Edinburgh Airport base which includes liaising with aircraft operators, travel organizers, the airport authority, third-party suppliers, air crew, passengers and relevant authorities to co-ordinate the arrival and departure of our clients’ aircraft at the airport.

You will be the face of the business providing world class service to our customers, ensuring a smooth transition through our facility whilst safely delivering ground services to our customers’ aircraft, including towing and fuelling.

As you might expect a longer list of duties is in the HR file, but we can discuss this at interview stage, along with salary, benefits and everything else about this brilliant role.

About You:

  • First and foremost - you know what an excellent customer experience looks like and you know how to deliver this
  • Flexible - this is a multi-faceted role where you could be pouring drinks to approving an aircraft for boarding - No room for egos here
  • Willingness to learn new skills, with full training provided both in the office and outdoors on the ‘ramp’ with aircraft
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure in an operational environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Valid and clean driving licence
  • IT Literate and proficiency in using Microsoft Office programmes – Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • You will be organised with a strong attention to detail
  • Additional languages would be an advantage
  • Previous experience with aviation, travel, luxury retail or hospitality would be advantageous
  • HGV License would be desirable, otherwise you will be trained on this
