Job summary

Park Plaza Riverbank is seeking a Guest Laundry Attendant to support guests, colleagues and hotel operations by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and care. Your attention to detail ensures items are cleaned, pressed and presented to a premium standard.

You will process guest laundry, staff uniforms and hotel linen, operate laundry equipment safely, and work closely with Housekeeping to deliver efficient, courteous service that enhances the guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry, housekeeping or cleaning experience, ideally within a hotel environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high presentation standards.
• Organised, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Process guest laundry, colleague uniforms and hotel linen to brand standards.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and follow care instructions.
• Handle guest laundry requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping to support daily operations and service excellence.
• Report maintenance issues and contribute to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities as our Guest Laundry Attendant:

• Process guest laundry, colleagueuniformsand hotel linen in line with brand standards, ensuring all items are cleaned,handledand presented to a high standard.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently while following all laundry procedures and care instructions.
• Handle guest laundry requests promptly and professionally, ensuringspecial requirementsare met to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain a clean,organisedand safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures.
• Work closely with Housekeeping and other departments to support daily operations andmaintainservice excellence across the hotel.
• Report maintenance issues, equipmentfaultsand safety concerns, while proactivelyidentifyingopportunities to improve efficiency and service standards.

About You:

• Havepreviouslaundry, housekeeping or cleaning experience, ideally within a hotel environment.
• Have strong attention to detail and take pride inmaintainingexcellent quality and presentation standards.
• Be organised and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing changing priorities.
• Deliver excellent customer service and communicate confidently with guests and colleagues.
