Job summary

The Newt in Somerset is seeking attentive Waiter/ss to join The Farmyard team across The Farmyard Restaurant, Hive Café and Garner Bar. You’ll deliver warm, confident table service in daily dining and at events, sharing knowledge of our provenance and estate ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, welcoming service across The Farmyard Restaurant, Hive Café and Garner Bar.
• Deliver high standards alongside the wider restaurant and estate teams.
• Serve food and beverages including wine, coffee and cocktails; training provided where required.
• Share knowledge of menus, ingredients and provenance with guests.
• Keep service areas clean and ready for every service.
• Support smooth delivery during both daily service and events.
• Work collaboratively across Farmyard outlets.
• Escalate operational or guest-related issues when required.
