J Sheekey on Leicester Square seeks an energetic Assistant Reception Manager to support front‑of‑house operations and guest services, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience.

You will oversee reservations and the reception area, work with the management team on private events, and lead a welcoming guest journey from arrival to departure with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in receptionist or assistant manager role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle guest interactions with professionalism.
• Familiarity with reservation systems and basic administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the reception area, managing reservations and coordinating with the front-of-house team.
• Open Table and/or Seven Rooms experience.
• Assist in ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests from arrival to departure.
• Handle guest inquiries, providing information about the restaurant and assisting with special requests.
• Work closely with the management team to organize and execute private events and functions.
• Collaborate with other staff members to maintain an efficient and harmonious working environment.
• Support the Reception Manager in daily administrative tasks.
