Burley Manor, a beautiful New Forest hotel, is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. You'll help prepare bedrooms and refresh guest areas to ensure rooms are clean, comfortable and beautifully presented, creating the warm and welcoming atmosphere guests love.

This hands-on role values care, attention to detail and a positive attitude. You’ll work with colleagues to meet high standards and may need to work weekends and holidays, with your own transport essential due to rural location.

Qualifications

• Attitude, reliability and pride in work are valued over formal experience.
• Ability to work as part of a hotel housekeeping team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest bedrooms and bathrooms to a high standard.
• Refresh public areas and replenish guest amenities.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Follow health and safety and cleaning standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
• Create a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment throughout the hotel.
• Be flexible with shifts, including weekends and holidays.
