Job summary

Burley Manor in the New Forest is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team. You’ll help bring our food and beverage operation to life, oversee service and lead by example on shift to ensure warm, professional and personal guest experiences.

This role requires a genuine passion for hospitality, strong communication and organisational skills, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and busy periods. Join New Forest Hotels and be part of a team that cares about hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage or hospitality, ideally in a supervisory role.
• Genuine passion for food, drink and great service.
• Warm, friendly and confident with a natural ability to make guests feel welcome.

We’re looking for aFood & Beverage Supervisorto join the team atBurley Manor, our beautiful country house hotel nestled in the heart of the New Forest.

What you’ll be doing

As Food & Beverage Supervisor, you’ll be a key part of the team, helping to create an experience that feels effortless for our guests.

You’ll support the Food and Beverage Manager and wider team, lead by example on shift and make sure our service is consistently warm, professional and personal.

You’ll be involved across our food and beverage operation, from welcoming guests and overseeing service to supporting the team, maintaining standards and helping to resolve any challenges that arise.

Most importantly, you’ll bring energy, personality and a genuine passion for hospitality.

• Has previous experience in a food and beverage or hospitality environment, ideally in a supervisory or team-leading role
• Has a genuine passion for food, drink and great service
• Is warm, friendly and confident, with a natural ability to make people feel welcome
• Leads from the front and enjoys bringing the best out of those around them
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills
• Is proactive, reliable and takes pride in getting the details right
• Can stay calm, positive and solution-focused when things get busy
• Understands the importance of food safety, hygiene and high service standards
• Is flexible and happy to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays and during busy periods
