Job Description:

The role involves creating memorable guest experiences at Theatre Royal Drury Lane for Disney’s new West End musical, Hercules. You will be part of the Guest Experience team, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment, and providing exceptional service across all front of house areas, including bars and retail outlets.

Responsibilities include delivering 5-star service, driving sales, assisting guests, maintaining high standards of presentation, and collaborating with colleagues. You will also be involved in safety procedures, stock management, and supporting the venue’s operational needs.

What you’ll be doing…

• Delivering exceptional customer service with guests at the center of everything you do.
• Driving sales in bars and retail outlets.
• Supporting extra events and concerts.
• Ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
• Responding proactively to guest feedback.
• Maintaining product knowledge and sharing it enthusiastically.
• Anticipating guest needs and assisting accordingly.
• Monitoring auditorium during performances.
• Collaborating with colleagues and sharing information.
• Checking key areas for compliance and condition.
• Conducting bag and ticket checks with a warm welcome.
• Supporting opening/closing procedures, cleaning, and maintenance schedules.
• Supporting responsible alcohol service, allergen legislation, and hygiene practices.
• Assisting with stock takes and reporting wastage/discrepancies.
• Understanding evacuation and emergency protocols.
• Participating in health and safety training.
• Assisting with setup and pack-down of venue areas.

What we need…

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
• Experience in bar/retail is desirable but not essential.
• Dedicated to customer service, with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with enthusiasm and attention to detail.
• Willing to learn and develop.

Contract: 30 hours/week, performance-based, with a schedule including evenings and weekends. Extra events may require work on Sundays with a day off during the week.

Salary: £ per hour
