Overview

Full time role at Dukes, Bath, as a Guest Experience Host. You will be the personality our guests experience on arrival and departure, and you’ll play a key role in delivering a warm, seamless experience across front-of-house responsibilities while staying true to our culture of being down-to-earth, friendly and unflappable.

Responsibilities

• Work a variety of weekend and weekday shifts, providing a consistent guest experience at arrival and departure.
• Manage finer details such as phones, inbox, bookings, pre-arrival notes; perform warm check-ins/outs and ensure accurate billing.
• Answer queries, share local tips, arrange taxis and tables, and help guests plan an exceptional stay.
• Assist with breakfast service when required: set, greet, seat, and serve while keeping service swift and sunny.
• On other days, pour wines/beers, mix simple cocktails, and serve with confidence in the bar or lounge (training provided).
• Handle admin tasks when not serving guests: place small bar/restaurant orders, receive deliveries, maintain clean handovers, and perform computer-based work.
• Occasionally assist with housekeeping tasks, help set up small events, and keep the lobby tidy and welcoming.
