We are excited to be looking for a Guest Experience Assistant to join the Guest Experience team at Emirates Old Trafford.

About Us

Emirates Old Trafford, home of Lancashire Cricket, is an award-winning, world-class stadium and venue. It hosts sports, business, leisure, and entertainment events, with a capacity of up to 50,000 for concerts, 26,000 for cricket, and meeting spaces for up to 2,000 delegates. The venue includes a 250-bedroom Hilton Garden Inn hotel and an on-site Caffè Nero.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to support all aspects of Service and Matchday Experience. This is an annualised hours position with increased hours during the summer cricket season, including some evenings and weekends.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Guest Experience with Matchday preparations and delivery.
• Coordinate with Matchday suppliers, entertainers, and volunteers, including scheduling and briefing.
• Attend relevant meetings regarding Matchday Experience.
• Engage with guests to identify and respond to their needs.
• Monitor guest areas and address issues promptly.
• Collaborate with Marketing to ensure a consistent guest experience in different areas.
• Work with Food/Beverage, Facilities, Stewarding, and Operations teams to enhance guest satisfaction.

Club Relations/Guest Service (Non-Matchday)

• Assist ticket and membership departments, managing member inquiries from start to finish.
• Provide excellent customer service via email, phone, social media, and in person.
• Handle queries and complaints efficiently and positively.
• Follow daily opening and closing procedures.
• Support other departments such as conference bookings and lost property.
• Manage car park access and parcels processing.
• Act as Fire Marshall and First Aider on a roster basis.

Essential Requirements

• Experience in guest service roles.
• Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with systems preferred.
• Commitment to high-quality customer service.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
