Job summary

Thatcher Associates is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead MEP delivery on varied construction projects and coordinate with design teams, subcontractors and site management.

Based in Guernsey with relocation assistance, you will oversee MEP planning, budgets and commissioning, ensuring safety, quality and on-time handover to clients across residential and commercial sectors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an MEP Project Manager or similar role within construction.
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical and public health systems.
• Qualification in building services engineering (HNC/HND, degree or equivalent).
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• SMSTS and CSCS card desirable.
• Willingness to relocate to Guernsey.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, coordination and delivery of MEP works from pre-construction through handover.
• Liaise with M&E consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to meet design intent.
• Review and approve MEP subcontractor programmes and Method Statements.
• Monitor progress, quality and compliance with specs and regs.
• Manage MEP budgets and change control.
• Support commissioning and testing ahead of practical completion.
• Build strong relationships with clients and the project team.
