Job summary

Colten Care advertises a Guardsman role on a nationwide, full-time basis. You will undergo the 30 week Combat Infantry Course at Catterick, with Guards Company instructors guiding you through training in fitness, weapons, navigation, tactics, survival and driving.

On completing initial training, you will join a Guards battalion for operations in the UK and abroad, with opportunities for qualifications and progression supported by the Army.

Qualifications

• Infantry Soldier Combat Skills
• Level 2 Safe Use of Weapons qualification
• Advanced Apprenticeship in Logistics Operations
• HM Forces Apprenticeship (Public Services)
• Institute of Leadership and Management Team Leading

Responsibilities

• Progress through training including fitness, weapons, navigation, tactics, survival and driving.
• Move with Guards battalion for UK and overseas training and operations.
• Develop qualifications and progress within the Army structure.
