Harry enjoys long walks listening to birds and nature sounds. He has significant complex care and medical needs, requiring 1:1 / 2:1 support from a dedicated care team 24/7. Harry has cerebral palsy, dysphagia, epilepsy with regular seizures, a PEG for nutrition, fluids, and medication, and requires suctioning. He has visual and hearing impairments and uses a wheelchair. Harry is susceptible to chest infections, and daily chest physiotherapy is provided. He communicates using Eye Gaze. Harry's family is loving and supportive, recognizing the importance of his care team in his development, and maintaining a professional and pleasant home environment.

Harry needs an experienced waking night carer to assist with his bedtime routine and attend to his needs during the night. There may be a sleeping night carer on shift who can be woken if needed; their usual day starts at a set time to support the morning routine. The role involves actively monitoring Harry, following protocols during seizures, repositioning, personal care, and observing for distress. In the mornings, you'll administer his PEG feed and fluids, help soothe Harry, and ensure he gets rest before school. All activities are to be accurately documented. Additional shifts are available for cover during leave periods.
