Job Title GTI Transformation Office – Organisational Design Specialist

Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) is executing on its vision to re-balance, rationalise and simplify the vendor landscape, headcount mix, service offerings and key technology platforms. The transformation will deliver reduction in run cost and gains in efficiency, agility, speed and control. A critical component of the vision is to define and implement the right operating model to enable these benefits.

You will collaborate with managers and specialists across GTI to assess the impacts of the transformation activities on the workforce and vendor landscape and to define the target organisation and steps needed to deliver this.

Your key responsibilities

  • Working across the GTI organisation to capture and analyse current state resources, structures and processes
  • Collaborating with management and technical specialists to define the target organisational model in terms of structure, key accountabilities, resources required, key vendor partnerships
  • Constructing models to support assessment of organizational dimensions such as location strategy, organisational pyramids, cost breakdown, transition states from current to target state
  • Owning the master data / model set for target state organisation definition
  • Assessing potential for vendors to partner in delivering key capabilities
  • Identifying efficiency opportunities and working with relevant specialists to quantify and validate as needed
  • Producing materials to support clear fact-based senior management decisions

Your skills and experience

  • Experience working in a large-scale corporate environment with a global matrix organisation, preferably in transformation related roles
  • Experience defining organisation structure, including design criteria, transformation impacts, what-if analysis
  • Good awareness of operational IT processes and associated team structures e.g. ITIL, devops, product lifecycle management, etc.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written with ability to deal effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels of seniority and technical specialization
  • Data analysis skills including ability to design spreadsheets that communicate as well as process data, coordinate data collection and produce unambiguous viewpoints
  • A capable organiser able to plan and coordinate the work of a team and engagement with wider stakeholders.
