The Opportunity
TMS/TCR is seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and maintenance on our vehicle fleet to a high standard. This role is crucial to ensuring operational reliability, compliance with safety regulations, and adherence to ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Undertake repairs and routine maintenance on TCR and associated vehicles
• Perform inspections, brake/smoke tests, and confirm defects with the Operations Manager
• Record job progress via SAP and complete end-of-day updates
• Diagnose faults and report work/parts needed before starting repairs
• Ensure accurate parts management and correct labelling for warranty/exchange units
• Notify the Operations Manager of urgent VOR parts and job completions
• Maintain clear, concise job card and SAP entries with accurate time tracking
• Quarantine and report defective tools or equipment immediately
• Submit daily manual time sheets and log all non-productive hours correctly

• High-quality repair and maintenance standards
• Accurate time tracking and SAP updates
• Low levels of sickness and absence
• Proper use of workshop systems and safety protocols
Health & Safety
• Adhere to all safety rules and use correct PPE at all times
• Report all accidents, hazards, and unsafe practices immediately
• Support the company’s continuous safety improvements
ISO Compliance
• Follow all procedures under ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 frameworks
• Maintain compliance with waste segregation and documentation standards
• Ensure all work is aligned with internal management systems (IMS)
What We Are Looking For
• City & Guilds or equivalent in Motor Mechanics (essential)
• Experience in vehicle maintenance and customer-focused environments
• Understanding of H&S regulations and workshop best practices
• Analytical with good communication and organisational skills
Desirable Experience & Qualifications
• LGV Class 2 Licence
• Forklift Licence
• Operational vehicle or logistics background

• Capable of managing tasks independently and resolving issues efficiently
