Job summary

A leading aviation service provider at Biggin Hill is looking for a GSE Supervisor to manage maintenance procedures. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of relevant experience and essential skills in Ground Support Equipment. Responsibilities include scheduling maintenance, ensuring equipment condition, and meeting repair deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must be eligible for Airside Driving permit.
• Ground Support Equipment experience, Avionic or Vehicle Electrical experience is essential.
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of operation.
• Capability to handle multiple projects concurrently.

• Ensure all GSE and equipment is maintained in serviceable condition.
• Coordinate scheduling of equipment to be repaired.
• Ensure GSE repair deadlines are met.

Overview

Bombardier’s Business Aircraft London Service Centre in Biggin Hill is part of an award-winning network and is the flagship of Bombardier’s European operation. This Base and Line Maintenance Centre is the fastest-growing Service Centre in Europe and the largest Business Aircraft OEM in the UK. The facility has the capabilities to perform an array of maintenance checks, modifications and upgrades all from this site. Only 14 miles from London, Bombardier’s Biggin Hill Service Centre is ideally located to support operators in the UK region and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Determine work procedures and prepare work schedules to ensure scheduled andunscheduled maintenance for BAS London GSE is performed in a timely manner.
• Ensure all GSE and equipment is maintained in a serviceable condition
• Ensure all tools are maintained in a serviceable condition
• Operation and maintenance of workshop equipment and tooling
• Order parts required for preventive maintenance and major repairs.
• Coordinate scheduling of equipment to be repaired.
• Coordinate all quality assurance inspections on equipment.
• Adjust errors and address complaints.
• Ensure GSE repair deadlines are met.
