About the role:

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to service, repair, and maintain all types of Ground Service Equipment (GSE). You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all GSE, upload inspection findings and job details into Swissport’s fleet management system, and may be required to respond to out-of-hours service requests.

Responsibilities

What we are looking for:

• Time served Technician with City & Guilds or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year post-apprentice experience or equivalent.
• Would suit HGV or Plant technician.
• Good mechanical, diagnostics, and fault-finding skills.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electric systems.
• Ability to conduct safety inspections and perform routine maintenance.
• Enthusiastic, flexible team player with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude.
• Welding experience is preferred but not necessary.
• Willing to work in inclement weather.
• Must have own tools.
• Willing to travel for training or to assist other Swissport stations with GSE needs.
• Must pass DBS security background checks.
