Job summary
Holt Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading provider of aviation ground support equipment to recruit a GSE Engineer based at Heathrow. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing ground support equipment to ensure reliability and safety for airport operations.
You will service, maintain, and repair GSE, perform mechanical and electrical PPM, diagnose faults, complete records, and work with internal teams to meet operational requirements while complying with health and safety
Qualifications
- Proven experience in HGV maintenance or similar heavy equipment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
- Ability to obtain a 5-year checkable work history for airside pass clearance.
- HGV Class 1 Licence (desirable)
- Pass CRC checks and GSAT training
Responsibilities
- Servicing, maintenance, and repair of GSE equipment.
- Carrying out mechanical and electrical planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently.
- Ensuring paperwork and job records are completed to a high standard.
- Delivering a high level of customer service to internal stakeholders.
- Complying with all health & safety regulations.
- Liaising with internal teams and supporting operational requirements
