Introduction

Are you a qualified GSA STMVA Trainer with previous experience in a learning, development or training role within the healthcare industry? If so, join Elysium Healthcare as the Regional Neurological Safe and Therapeutic Management of Violent and Aggression Lead.

Working as part of the Neuro Regional Team, you will support the delivery of Safe and Therapeutic Management of Violence and Aggression (STMVA) and breakaway training to maintain safety measures and support quality improvement programmes as well as our other Statutory and Mandatory courses.

As a Regional STMVA Lead, you will have oversight of clinical practices through audits, teaching and meetings, which will see you manage and identify where physical and/or emotional factors may affect the use of physical restraint.

You will support and investigate any complaints arising from the Safe and Therapeutic Management of Violence and Aggression courses or tutors and will review data around STMVA, including CCTV Audits of STMVA and produce monthly reports for the regional governance meetings.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Qualified GSA STMVA Trainer- minimum 2 years’ experience
  • First Aid at Work Certificate
  • CIEH Level 2 in Risk Assessment & Management
  • Formal, certificated teaching/training qualification
