INDWIN is seeking an experienced Transport Planner in the Selby area to coordinate daily transport activity, plan routes, and liaise with drivers and customers. The role demands strong organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced transport office.

The role offers long-term career development within a growing transport business, with a salary of £35,000 to £40,000 dependent on experience and a permanent, full-time contract.

Qualifications

• Experience as Transport Planner or similar in a busy transport/logistics environment.
• Strong route planning and scheduling experience.
• Excellent organisation, prioritisation and multi-tasking abilities.
• Strong communication with drivers, customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily transport routes, journeys and loads.
• Schedule vehicles and drivers efficiently across the operation.
• Liaise with drivers and provide operational support.
• Brief and debrief drivers as required.
• Communicate with customers and provide clear updates.
• Resolve delivery and planning issues quickly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate information across internal systems and Excel spreadsheets.
• Support vehicle and trailer availability for service and inspection requirements.
